FIRST DAY:

  • Welcome at the Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel (morning).
  • Cusco City Tour: Cathedral Qoricancha Sacsayhuaman Tambomachay Qenqo Pucapucara (from 1:30pm- 6:30pm).
  • Night in selected hotel in Cusco.

SECOND, THIRD, FOURTH AND FIFTH DAYS:

  • 4-day, 3-night Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
  • The last night will be at a selected hotel in Cusco.

SIXTH DAY:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas (8:00 am – 7:00 pm).
  • Overnight at selected hotel.

SEVENTH DAY:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer from the hotel to the Cusco airport and farewell.

Important: From January to April, Inka Rail and Peru Rail services depart and arrive at the Ollantaytambo or Pachar stations (2 hours from Cusco).
Our tour prices include transfers to these stations.

Program

DAY 1.- «CITY TOUR IN CUSCO»

On the day of your arrival at Cusco airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, then we will transport you to the selected hotel, where you will rest for an hour, drink coca mate and in the afternoon we will come to pick you up at 1:30 pm, to begin the tour of the city of Cusco and its surroundings, the guided tour that includes visiting the center of the ancient city of Cusco, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Monastery of Santo Domingo, the Temple of Koricancha and the nearby ruins of Kenko, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built with enormous rocks that until now remain an enigma their mobilization and use, there are no stone quarries in the area. At 7:00 pm.

DAY 2 – START OF THE INCA TRAIL

After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll pick you up early and travel by road to Chilca, 88 km away. Here, we’ll meet with porters, cooks, and the necessary equipment for the trek. We’ll begin the trek along the Urubamba River to reach Patallaqta, where we’ll have lunch. We’ll continue our journey through the Huayllabamba Valley to reach Llullucayoc, where we’ll camp and have a pleasant dinner before spending the night. (Photo: Inca Trail entrance).

DAY 3 – INCA TRAIL

We will wake up very early to contemplate the beauty of the mountains and breathe the pure air that nature generously provides. After breakfast, we will continue our hike to the highest point, the Warmiwuanusca Pass (where women die) at 4,200 meters above sea level, from where we will have a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains, valleys, and surrounding mountains. We will continue our descent into the great Pacaymayo Valley, where we will be served hot drinks (mate); then comes dinner and finally, camp. Lunch and dinner are included. DAY 4 – INCA TRAIL

Breakfast at camp, then we begin the hike through a semitropical valley, viewing vestiges of the Inca culture, strategically located according to the daily life needs of the Incas who inhabited the area. We then begin the ascent to Runcuracay, an archaeological site at 3,700 meters above sea level. We then continue to Sayacmarka, where we will rest and have lunch. We then continue our hike to PUYUPATAMARCA (City Above the Clouds), an impressive Inca city. We continue to Wiñaywayna, at 2,690 meters above sea level, located at the edge of the jungle, where we will have dinner and camp. (Photo: Panoramic view of Puyupatamarca).

DAY 5 – INCA TRAIL AND VISIT TO MACHUPICCHU

After breakfast, we will continue to the wonderful entrance to Machu Picchu through the Inti Punku (Sun Gate), from where you will have an impressive panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, we will take a guided tour of the citadel, visiting the main ruins and monuments, such as the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries. Free time to stroll through the citadel and then take a bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, we will return to the Ollantaytambo train station. DAY 6 – “TOUR TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS”

This day, we will tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We begin at 8:00 a.m., picking you up from your hotel and heading to Pisaq, a typical market with picturesque mountain terraces. We will visit the Pisaq archaeological site. It is also famous for its fairs, where you can buy beautiful handicrafts. Afterward, we will head to Urubamba, where a buffet lunch is included. We will then head to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, where descendants of the Incas live in Inca homes. Finally, we will head to Chinchero to see its market and the archaeological site, which features typical Spanish overlays on the Inca buildings. The tour will end around 7:00 p.m. in Cusco’s main square. We will spend the night at a selected hotel in Cusco. (Photo: Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco).

DAY 7 – FAREWELL

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Cusco airport, which is just a few minutes from downtown Cusco. We need to arrive at least an hour early to arrange your flight confirmation. We’ll say our goodbyes, and you’ll board your flight from Cusco to Lima.
