Program

TIPON

A large, impressive cultivation area containing 12 terraces currently under cultivation, the walls of which were built with finely carved stones. Even more impressive is the irrigation system, which still serves agriculture and provides ample water intake during the spring season.

2.- PIKILLAQTA

It presents characteristics of a large urban center corresponding to the development of the Wari empire, with more than a thousand buildings, including plazas, colcas (food stores), courtyards or dwellings, temples, and long, narrow streets with buildings that were up to four stories high.

ANDAHUAYLILLAS

A typical Andean village from the colonial era with unique origins and architecture. Andahuaylillas’s colonial-era Catholic church stands out, with beautiful decoration and murals from the 17th and 18th centuries, known as the Sistine Chapel of Cusco. On the way back, we’ll pass through Saylla, a typical Cusco town where you can enjoy delicious pork rinds (optional). We’ll return to Cusco at approximately 3:30 p.m.
