Itinerary

«The Inca Trail is closed for safety and maintenance purposes throughout the month of February. Starting March 1st, admission to the Inca Trail will resume normal operations. The closure of the Inca Trail does not affect other tours to Machu Picchu (for example, the Train to Machu Picchu, the Salkantay Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, the Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu, among others).
Important – Although the Inca Trail Expeditions regulations state that reservations must be made 5 days in advance, it is best to do so well in advance. During peak season, space is usually limited 90 days before departure. This is due to the fact that only 500 people, including tourists, guides, porters, and support staff, can enter the trail per day.
Important – During the months of January and April, Inka Rail and Peru Rail services depart and arrive at the Ollantaytambo or Pachar stations (2 hours from Cusco). Our tour prices include transfers to these stations.
