First Day:
- Transfer from your hotel to Lima Airport.
- Air travel from Lima to Iquitos (On your own).
- Welcome and reception at the Iquitos airport.
- Transfer to the Iquitos pier.
- 40 km boat ride along the Amazon River.
- Walk through the jungle surrounding the Lodge.
- At night, we will listen to music at the “El Tucán” Bar.
- Overnight at Ceiba Tops.
Second Day:
- Birdwatching excursion.
- Breakfast at the Lodge.
- Visit to the Yagua Native Community.
- Viewing pink and gray river dolphins.
- Viewing animals in the wild.
- Overnight at Ceiba Tops.
Third Day:
- Breakfast at the Lodge.
- Boat excursion through the Amazon Rainforest.
- Transfer to Iquitos airport.
- Return flight to Lima (On your own).
- Transfer to your hotel in Lima.

Program
Day 1 – Welcome to Iquitos and hike through the Amazon Rainforest
At the flight time indicated by you from Lima to Iquitos, our staff in Lima will transport you to the airport for your flight to Iquitos (on your own). Arrival and welcome reception in Iquitos. Reception at the airport, brief city orientation on the way to the Iquitos pier. Travel by boat along the Amazon River, traveling 40 km downriver to reach our Ceiba Tops Lodge. Our facilities have air-conditioned rooms and private bathrooms with hot water and are surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. In the afternoon, we will walk through a beautiful forest surrounded by large trees, including the most prominent Ceiba tree, which gives the lodge its name. After dinner, you can listen to local music with guitar and flute at the “El Tucán” Bar, or the guides are always ready to tell you some of the many legends of the Amazon.
Day 2 – Tour to the Yagua Native Community
Early morning birdwatching excursion. After breakfast at the lodge, we will take a mid-morning boat trip to the Yagua Native community, where they still maintain their customs and traditions. In the Yagua village, you will have the opportunity to see some local crafts and a demonstration of how to use the blowgun, which some Yagua still use for hunting. On the way back to the lodge, you will be able to see pink and gray freshwater dolphins. In the afternoon, we will take a trip to the riverside village of Indiana, and if the weather is good, you will be able to watch the sunset on the Amazon River. We will then return to the lodge for dinner and a rest.
Day 3 – Amazon Rainforest Tour and Transfer to Iquitos Airport
After breakfast, you’ll take a hike or boat tour to further appreciate the Amazon Rainforest, or you’ll have free time to enjoy the lodge’s facilities. Return to Iquitos for your flight to Lima. Upon your return from Iquitos, our staff will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
