FIRST DAY:

SECOND DAY:

  • Transfer from the hotel to the Lima airport.
  • Airplane ride from Lima to Cusco (1 hour).

EIGHTH DAY:

  • Transfer from the hotel to the Cusco airport.
  • Flight from Cusco to Lima (1 hour).
  • Transfer from Lima airport to the bus terminal in Nazca.
  • Travel from Lima to Nazca by tourist bus.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Nazca.

NINTH DAY:

  • Overflight to the Nazca Lines.
  • Travel from Nazca to Paracas.
  • Night at a hotel in Paracas.

TENTH DAY:

  • Tour to the Ballestas Islands and the Paracas National Reserve (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).
  • Travel from Paracas to Lima.
  • Transfer from the Lima bus terminal to the Lima airport.

Important: From January to April, Inka Rail and Peru Rail services depart and arrive at the Ollantaytambo or Pachar stations (2 hours from Cusco).

Program

DAY 1.- CITY TOUR IN LIMA WITH A VIEW OF HUACA PUCLLANA

Get to know Lima on a comfortable and modern sightseeing tour of the best of our city. We’ll take a panoramic tour of the Pucllana Pyramid in Miraflores, pass through the grand El Olivar de San Isidro park, explore the streets of the Historic Center, and enjoy a guided tour of the Plaza de Armas and the Catacombs of the San Francisco Convent. A comprehensive tour with the comfort and attention of a modern tourist service.

DAY 2.- CITY TOUR IN CUSCO

After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up and transfer you to the Lima airport. There, you will check in and board a one-hour flight to Cusco, the Archaeological Capital of the Americas. Our staff will welcome you and transfer you from the Cusco airport to your selected hotel, where you will enjoy coca-mate. After lunch, at 1:30 pm, we will begin a guided tour that includes visits to the center of the ancient city of Cusco, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Monastery of Santo Domingo, the Temple of Koricancha, and the nearby ruins of Kenko, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay, and the Sacsayhuaman fortress. The rock formations were built with enormous rocks. Their movement and use remain a mystery, as there are no stone quarries in the area. At 7:00 pm, we will continue our guided tour.

DAY 3 – INCA TRAIL START

After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll pick you up early and travel by road to Chilca, 88 km away. Here, we’ll meet with porters, cooks, and the necessary equipment for the trek. We’ll begin the trek along the Urubamba River to reach Patallaqta, where we’ll have lunch. We’ll continue our journey through the Huayllabamba Valley to reach Llullucayoc, where we’ll camp and have a pleasant dinner before spending the night. (Photo: Inca Trail entrance).

DAY 4 – INCA TRAIL

We will wake up very early to contemplate the beauty of the mountains and breathe the pure air that nature generously provides. After breakfast, we will continue our hike until we reach the highest point, the Warmiwuanusca Pass (where women die) at 4,200 meters above sea level, from where we will have a panoramic view of the surrounding snow-capped mountains, valleys, and mountains. We will continue our descent into the great Pacaymayo Valley, where we will have hot drinks (mate). This is followed by dinner and finally, camp. Lunch and dinner are included. DAY 5 – INCA TRAIL

Breakfast at camp, then we begin the hike through a semitropical valley, viewing vestiges of the Inca culture, strategically located according to the daily life needs of the Incas who inhabited the area. We then begin the ascent to Runcuracay, an archaeological site at 3,700 meters above sea level. We then continue to Sayacmarka, where we will rest and have lunch. We then continue our hike to PUYUPATAMARCA (City Above the Clouds), an impressive Inca city. DAY 6 – INCA TRAIL AND VISIT TO MACHUPICCHU

After breakfast, we will continue to the wonderful entrance to Machu Picchu through the Inti Punku (Sun Gate), from where you will have an impressive panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, we will take a guided tour of the citadel, visiting the main ruins and monuments, such as the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries. Free time to stroll through the citadel and then take a bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, we will return to the Ollantaytambo train station, and from there, we will board a bus to Cusco. Overnight at a hotel in Cusco. DAY 7 – “TOUR TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS”

This day, we will tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We begin at 8:00 a.m., picking you up from your hotel and heading to Pisaq, a typical market with picturesque mountain terraces. We will visit the Pisaq archaeological site. It is also famous for its fairs, where you can buy beautiful handicrafts. Afterward, we will head to Urubamba, where a buffet lunch is included. We will then head to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, where descendants of the Incas live in Inca homes. Finally, we will head to Chinchero to see its market and the archaeological site, with its typical Spanish overlays on the Inca buildings. The tour will end around 7:00 p.m. in Cusco’s main square. DAY 8 – PLANE FROM CUSCO TO LIMA AND BUS TO NAZCA

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time to do some shopping. You will then be transferred to the Cusco airport to board your return flight to Lima (the flight takes approximately 80 minutes). At the Lima airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. We will then transfer you to the bus terminal of the bus company that will take us from Lima to Nazca. The trip will last approximately 6:30 a.m. We will arrive in Nazca, where we will be waiting for you as usual with a sign with your name on it. After welcoming you, we will transfer you to your hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY 9 – FLIGHT OVER THE “NAZCA LINES”

After breakfast in the morning, we will transfer you to the Nazca airport. Before the flight, you will receive a briefing for a 45-minute flight over the Nazca Plains, where the ancient pre-Incas drew gigantic figures of animals and plants for a purpose yet to be discovered. Many believe these figures were made by extraterrestrials, including monkeys, spiders, hummingbirds, and more. In the afternoon, we will take a bus to Paracas, a city 3 hours from Nazca. We will spend the night in Paracas.

DAY 10 – TOUR TO THE BALLESTAS ISLANDS AND PARACAS RESERVE

After breakfast, we will transfer to the port of Paracas, where we will begin the tour to the Ballestas Islands, passing by “El Candelabro,” a gigantic image on the side of a hill. Upon arrival at the Ballestas Islands, we will visit the different islands for two hours, observing the different species of sea lions, seals, penguins, and guano birds. After arriving at the port, we will take the tour to the Paracas Reserve. In the afternoon, we will head to Paracas, where we will take the bus to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, we will wait for you at the bus terminal and transfer you to the airport to make arrangements for your flight to your country. There, we will say goodbye.
